My name is Mc Jazer Rosini Malonda, or you can call me just Jaz. I am a long time peace advocate utilizing media and communications to engage the youth and children in peacebuilding in the Philippines. My personal mission is to make the world a more peaceful place, one article at a time.

WORK EXPERIENCE

ADVOCACY AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, ATENEO SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT

January 2021 - September 2023

  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the marketing, communications, and advocacy strategy;

  • Assist in the development of a strategic marketing, communications, and advocacy strategy of the project;

  • Establish evaluation methods and monitor metrics for communication and policy engagements of the project;

  • Provide overall technical and operational supervision to the project in developing online and offline content, including but not limited to websites, social media posts, press releases, policy briefs, flyers, etc., especially in support of policy engagements, activities, and events;

  • Lead in the management of project websites and/or social media accounts;

  • Assist in the development and expansion of network and engaging media, high-level partners, expert advisors, and other stakeholders for project visibility and the dissemination of project outputs;

  • Prepare periodic reports, and other documentation requirements for internal and external reporting;

  • Provide advice and expertise to the Ateneo Policy Center and the Ateneo School of Government on a range of advocacy and communication issues, methods, and approaches; forestall and resolve issues and problems on communications, public relations, and advocacy;

  • Attend all meetings, events, and functions as deemed necessary by the Ateneo Policy Center and the Ateneo School of Government; and,

  • Perform any other tasks relevant to the project as directed by the Ateneo Policy Center and the Ateneo School of Government.
